  1. Visit the official NTA website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in

  2. Click on "Apply for UGC NET June 2025"

๐Ÿ“š Eligibility Criteria

The UGC NET is open to Indian nationals who meet the required educational qualifications outlined in the official notification.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.

    • General category candidates should have secured at least 55% marks.

    • SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender candidates should have secured at least 50% marks.

  • Age Limit:

    • For JRF: Not more than 30 years as of June 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

    • For Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.


๐Ÿ’ป Exam Pattern & Mode

The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 85 subjects. Your specific exam date, shift, and center details will be mentioned on the admit card.

The UGC NET June 2025 exam will consist of two papers conducted in a single session:
